We believe that all Americans deserve to participate in high quality elections where elections practices make it “easy to vote and hard to cheat” while still protecting the quality and integrity of elections results. The Center for Electoral Quality and Integrity was formed to show the power of quality management and quality science as a means of unbiased analysis and decision making regarding perceived and real problems in the conduct of American elections.
The Center for Electoral Quality and Integrity is structured around the themes of making elections “easy to vote and hard to cheat,” and will use basic quality practice and competencies to build best practices models for the conduct of elections. It will also develop standardized measures of efficient and effective operations.

In cooperation with election officials and subject matter experts, establish and share a best practices elections systems model that will provide a basis for evaluating the operational quality and effectiveness of electoral organizations.
Promoting proven quality improvement frameworks through tools and techniques, such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, to reduce the risk of failures and increase confidence in elections.
Establish a baseline standard of electoral system performance from a voter experience perspective.
